Kindergarten

The IGS-Kindergarten stands under the slogan of future and energy. Rain, sun and wind are the eponym and at the same time forms of energy, which are never lost. Energy is transformed and used again. Three groups of the Kindergarten are built on each other and prepare the children for school.

The older preschool kids form the Group “Wind” and interact also with the children of the first Grade. Younger children shine in the Group “Sun”. The youngest group “Rain” together with “Sun” and “Wind” form the all-encompassing rainbow.
- We try to catch the colorful rainbow – Have you ever observed a child doing so?

Besides offering a happy environment we also pursue other goals in working with children:

Motor-skills: visual-motor coordination, tactile and kinesthetic ability to control
Cognition: concentration, perseverance and attention, research and experimentation
Emotionality: confidence and the ability to withstand stress
Learning techniques for individual and group work, for example: making agreements and to comply to it.
Languages (German, English, Vietnamese.): Language ability, understanding, verbal language, narrative structure and written language
Mathematics: Geometry (body in space), numerical analysis and logical reasoning
Creativity: imagination and crafts, problem-solving strategies
Special topics: body, mind, space and time concepts, experiments
Nature and Environment: Researches, Examinations, Discoveries
